Orchard House Foods Ltd. is the UK's largest producer of fresh fruit products. These include smoothies and not- from- concentrate juices made from fruit and vegetables, ready-to-eat fresh fruit, fresh fruit desserts and ingredients for the food industry ( e.g. zests ).

The company processes more than 400 tons of fruit and vegetables per week at multiple facilities at its headquarters in Corby and Gateshead . With a total of around 1000 employees, it recently achieved annual sales of around £ 40–50 million . The biggest customer is Marks & Spencer .

Orchard House Foods was founded in 1985 by David Long as the first company in the UK to market freshly squeezed orange juice. In 1999 the Gateshead-based company Paradise Foods was taken over and became the second production site. From 2005 Orchard House Foods belonged to the British group Wellness Foods Ltd. In 2012, Orchard House Foods had a biogas plant operated in the BOO model installed for the fermentation of organic production residues, which reduced the amount of waste by 80%; the methane gas produced is used in a block-type thermal power station to generate electricity and heat.

At the end of 2015, Wellness Foods sold the subsidiary to the US Hain Celestial Group at an undisclosed price . The transaction is still subject to approval by the UK competition authority, the CMA .
