Orchester Lamoureux
The Orchester Lamoureux is an orchestra founded by Charles Lamoureux in 1881 as the Société des Nouveaux-Concerts in Paris and based at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées . It is funded by the City of Paris and consists of around 85 musicians selected through a competition.
The orchestra is of great importance for French musical life, many great conductors and interpreters have performed with it; The following premieres took place with him :

- Claude Debussy : Trois Nocturnes (1900, 1901)
- Claude Debussy : La Mer (1905)
- Maurice Ravel : Menuet antique (1930)
