Order "Hero of the New Agricultural Revolution"
The order "Hero of the New Agricultural Revolution" ( Romanian Ordinul "Erou al noii revolutii agrare" ) was a state award of the Socialist Republic of Romania . The foundation was established on October 15, 1986 by Decree No. 326 of the Council of State ( Consiliul de stat ). The statutes were published on the same day in the Romanian State Gazette ( Buletinul oficial ) No. 58. The medal in one class was not awarded to individuals, but to agricultural production cooperatives and collectives. The prerequisite for the award was the achievement of the planned harvest quantity per hectare of a previously defined crop species such as wheat, barley or maize.
Appearance and wearing style
The oval medal in the form of a drop is gold-plated and shows in its center a five-pointed star with a hammer and sickle , which are embossed. The order symbol is framed by ears of grain. The back is kept smooth and polished. The medal was worn on a moiré ribbon in the Romanian national colors.
