Regulatory partnership

A regulatory or security partnership is a form of crime prevention cooperation . It takes into account the societal approach to solving local crime phenomena.

Definition of terms

There are now regulatory partnerships between the police authorities , regulatory authorities , schools, universities and local public transport . The partnership is an association in which the police , administrations, institutions and bodies with tasks in the complex of public safety and order have come together. The participants can better bundle their resources through more cooperation , communication and coordination. The aim of the regulatory partnership is to create a network for more security . The network develops concepts to improve the objective security situation . Each participant works within the partnership within the scope of his or her responsibility.

State Prize for Internal Security NRW

The State Prize for Internal Security honors exemplary regulatory partnerships in North Rhine-Westphalia. The prize has been awarded annually by the Ministry of the Interior in North Rhine-Westphalia since 2003.
