Ordnungspolizei (Rhineland-Palatinate)

The Ordnungspolizei in Rhineland-Palatinate was a regulatory unit .

In the post-war period in Rhineland-Palatinate, a state police administration , consisting of an administrative police, regulatory police and criminal police, was set up in places with more than 10,000 inhabitants (not mandatory also from 5,000 inhabitants) . The order police corresponded to the protection police in other countries. In 1973 the Ordnungspolizei and Gendarmerie were merged to form the Schutzpolizei.
