Ordre de la Concorde

The Ordre de la Concorde ( German Order of Concord ) was founded in 1660 by Christian Ernst , Margrave of the Principality of Bayreuth , to commemorate the great German peace treaty and as an encouragement to unity. With the death of the founder in 1712, there were no more awards.

The order consisted of only one class.

Order decoration

The medal is a golden, enamelled cross that shows the motto CONCORDANT in golden letters in the upper semicircle of the medallion . In the lower semicircle, a green enamelled laurel branch can be seen on the left and right . On the ends of the branches there is a golden prince's hat at the intersection . In the reverse the letters CEMZB (Christian Ernst Markgraf zu Bayreuth) towered over by an elector's hat .

Carrying method

The award was worn on a red ribbon around the neck.
