The Ore Point ( English for Polish Przylądek Kruszcowy , metallic cape ' ) is a headland on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located on the west side of the Keller Peninsula and protrudes into the Mackellar Inlet .
Polish scientists named it in 1980. It is named after the ore-bearing rock from which it is made.
