Organ dose
The organ dose or organ dose equivalent (English: organ dose or organ equivalent dose ) is a term from the Radiation Protection and Dosimetry . It is defined as the absorbed dose absorbed by ionizing radiation in a specific organ , tissue or part of the body , measured in gray (Gy), multiplied by the radiation weighting factor of the relevant type of radiation.
