Organization of Central American States

The Organization of the Central American States (Spanish: Organización de Estados Centroamericanos / ODECA ) was a Central American organization founded in 1951 by Costa Rica , Guatemala , Honduras , Nicaragua and El Salvador . On their initiative, the Central American Common Market (MCCA) was founded in 1960 and replaced in 1991 by the signing of the Tegucigalpa Protocol by the SICA ( Sistema de la Integración Centroamericana , Central American Integration System ).

The seat was in San Salvador .
