Organization of European Cancer Institutes

The Organization of European Cancer Institutes (OECI; Organization of European Cancer Institutes) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, based in Brussels, was founded in 1979 in Vienna .

The mission of the OECI is to unite cancer research with the European cancer treatment facilities . The aim is to improve the quality of cancer treatment and translational research in Europe. The primary goals of the 68 associated European Cancer Centers are to improve communication and expand joint activities between the European cancer institutes. OECI members are leading cancer centers in Europe.

OECI has nine specific working groups.
