Erich-Dieter Krause

Erich-Dieter Krause (born April 12, 1935 ) is a German Esperantist and professor of Indonesian .

biography

Krause became an Esperantist in 1947. In 1988 he was a board member of the Esperanto Association of the GDR (GDREA). Until his retirement in 2000, he held the chair for Indonesian at the East Asia Institute of the University of Leipzig . He also works as a lexicographer and published dictionaries for Indonesian and Esperanto. He is a member of the Akademio de Esperanto and the editorial team of the journal Esperantologio / Esperanto Studies (EES).
