history

The publishing house was founded on May 11, 1959 as Helmut Buske Wissenschaftliche Buchhandlung Antiquariat Verlag in Tübingen and moved to Hamburg in 1962. It has been a subsidiary of Felix Meiner Verlag since January 1st, 1992 . Around 500 titles are currently available in more than 60 languages.

Helmut Buske Verlag is a member of the German Book Trade Association .

Publishing program
