Organization Intersex International

The Organization Intersex International (English), Organization Internationale des Intersexués (French) or OII for short , is an international human rights organization that stands up for the rights of intersex people. It was founded in 2003 by Curtis E. Hinkle in Quebec, Canada. Above all, the organization is against the medical practice of forced mutilation of intersex people and advocates their human rights. She also works with the organization International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association Europe, or ILGA Europe for short.
