Klosterhäseler Organ Building Museum
The Klosterhäseler organ building museum is located in the crypt of the former Cistercian monastery from the early 14th century and adjacent rooms in Klosterhäseler Castle , Naumburger Strasse 29 ( Burgenlandkreis ) in Saxony-Anhalt . It is operated by the local Hasseltal eV association. The exhibition can be viewed by appointment and always on the day of the open monument .
collection
In addition to tools from organ building , organ parts , display boards and windchest models, the collection also shows a positive organ without a case, on which the functionality of a mechanical slider-chest organ can be understood. It is based, among other things, on exhibits from the former Thuringian organ museum Bechstedtstrasse , which are exhibited here in a new context.

The Heerwagen organ building workshop was located in Klosterhäseler from 1855 to 1892 . They are remembered with the Heerwagen organ building exhibition. In the immediate vicinity of the Protestant church there is an organ (13 / II / P) by Wilhelm Heerwagen from 1871.
