Hurricane Marc

The low pressure area Marc developed the strongest hurricane in the low storm season 2010/2011 with up to 163 km / h, measured on the Brocken .

Marc was created on February 4th 2011 over the East Atlantic, then moved east towards Scandinavia and developed his maximum strength over northern Germany between February 5th and 6th 2011. In Schleswig-Holstein, Marc caused millions in damage. The lowest core pressure measured was 979 hPa.
