Orlando Voorn

Orlando Voorn (born April 25, 1968 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch DJ and producer of electronic music . Since the early 1980s he has published his music in various styles such as techno , drum and bass , ambient , hip-hop and electro under the following pseudonyms:

He also produced tracks with Blake Baxter under the name Ghetto Brothers and with Jeff Porter under the name Designer Loops.

Voorn won the Dutch DMC DJ Championships in 1986. Through his collaboration with musicians from the early Detroit techno movement such as Juan Atkins , Derrick May and Blake Baxter, he is considered a pioneer for the musical exchange between Detroit and Amsterdam.
