Ornytion

Ornytion ( Greek  Ὀρνυτίων ) is the son of Sisyphus and the father of Phokos and Thoas in Greek mythology .

After his nephew Bellerophon , King of Corinth , fled , he took over the government. However, Corinth lost its independence and became the vassal state of the Argives . Since his eldest son Phokos emigrated to Tithorea in Phocis , the government fell to his younger son Thoas after Ornytion's death.
