Orontes IV.
Orontes IV (at Strabon Artanes , also Jerwant) was a descendant of Orontes III. and son of Mithrobuzanes . Orontes was king of Sophene , a Hellenistic influenced Western Armenian kingdom. Around 93 BC He was deposed by Tigranes II of Greater Armenia, but not killed as previously assumed. With Jerwandashat he founded a new capital.
