The local chapel Harmannstein standing at a fork in the road at the Anger in the village Harmannstein in the municipality Großschönau in the district of Gmünd in Lower Austria . The chapel is under monument protection ( list entry ).

history

The chapel was built in 1882.

architecture

A slightly recessed semicircular apse adjoins the rectangular hall with arched windows. The slim roof turret with a pointed gable helmet is completely clad.

Furnishing

The altar shows a picture of John the Baptist in the ciborium .
