Oscar Alfaro
Óscar González Alfaro , known as Oscar Alfaro (born September 5, 1921 in San Lorenzo , Tarija Department , † December 25, 1963 in La Paz ) was a Bolivian poet and publicist whose main poetic works were aimed primarily at children and young people. A large park in Tarija is named after him.

His grandson of the same name has been trying for years to make the works better known through translations, including in English and German-speaking countries.
