Oscar Righini

Oscar Righini (* around 1940 ) is an Italian film producer .

Life

Righini first appeared as a producer for Gianni Vernuccio's La lunga notte di Veronique in 1966; the film had only very modest success. After two films of his own, which were never shown, and two genre works, he produced two exploitation films in 1976 and the following year. The 1979 musical film Disco Superstar , which he directed, wrote and produced as Oscar Roy , was a good financial success . Almost twenty years later, his medium-length documentary Camicienere, about fascist Italy, was released. Righini runs a production company for film, video and television in Rome.
