action

Tino and Patrizia are the dance champions of the Esplanade Club in Milan. On the eve of an important tournament, Patrizia's jealousy leads to an argument. Tino raves about a Honda that he wants to finance through photo shoots. Her biggest opponents on the dance floor are Ralph and Ornella, but there are also differences between the couple from the Ganesh Club, since "Travolta" Ralph is not averse to other girls. Among these are Cocca, who goes to bed with a Russian billionaire son, and Luana, a model with casual outlook. In addition to Tinom and Ralph, the men's group is completed by the easy-going Tappo and Bomba. On the evening of the dance competition, five couples each from Esplanade and Ganesh compete. In a tough argument, Tino and Patrizia can defeat their rivals, most recently Ralph and Ornella. The victory celebration at night is soaked in alcohol; the boys decide to ride a motorcycle. Toni has an accident at a level crossing. A doctor gives his friends hope that he will survive.

criticism

The lexicon of international films was short : “Italian series product, staged amateurishly, brashly dubbed.” In Italy, “filmtv.it” notes, the film was later voted a trash cult hit.

Remarks

The film was made at the height of the disco wave and wanted to benefit from the success of Only Saturday Night . This did not succeed: in Italy the film only grossed 21.5 million lire .

Nine pieces of the soundtrack were released as LP (Derby DBR 20132). You can hear The Day That My Heart Caught Fire ( John Paul Young ), Eloise ( Paris Connection ), Good, Bad & Funky ( Shotgun ), Superstar ( B. McGilpin ), Rock Around the Clock ( Bill Haley & the Comets), Araxis Space Ship ( Araxis ), Romeo & Juliet ( Alex R. Costandinos ), SEX ( Idris Muhammad ) and Love Is In the Air by John Paul Young.
