Karl Neuber , also Carl Neuber , (born May 12, 1841 in Wischke , Neisse district , Silesia (since 1945: Wyszków Śląski, Poland); † January 24, 1905 in Berlin ) was the prince-bishop's delegate for Brandenburg and Pomerania and provost of St. Hedwig's Church in Berlin.

Life

Karl Neuber was ordained a priest on June 28, 1866 and was then pastor in Neunz (since 1945: Niwnica) and from 1868 in the parish of St. Michael Church in Berlin. On August 22, 1886 he became pastor of St. Sebastian in Berlin.

On June 11, 1897, he was appointed Prince-Bishop's Delegate for Brandenburg and Pomerania and Provost of St. Hedwig's Church in Berlin, and on December 16, 1897, he was appointed Honorary Canon of the Breslau Cathedral . By Pope Pius X he was elected on January 23, 1905 Apostolic prothonotary appointed.

Among other things, Neuber inaugurated the Catholic church buildings of St. Josef in Berlin-Köpenick (1899), the Heart of Jesus in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg or the Holy Cross Church in Frankfurt (Oder) and the Church of the Assumption of Mary in Zehdenick.

He is buried in the old cathedral cemetery of St. Hedwig's parish .
