Hidden Movers Award
The Hidden Movers Award is a project of the Deloitte Foundation with the aim of "discovering, promoting and making known educational initiatives in Germany that are already successfully practiced on a small scale".

Every year, current questions on educational topics are taken up and advertised for the “Hidden Movers” competition. The aim of the competition is to identify organizations or institutions that are specifically committed to youth and education and have found working solutions for urgent educational problems in their area, but whose work is not yet known beyond their own circle. In 2019 the motto was "Because everyone wins when education wins". In previous years, the educational competition had the titles “Participation through education and work” and “From school to work”.
The best projects are awarded a total of 75,000 euros. Deloitte employees also accompany the winners with individual, long-term and free support in the further development of their project idea. In addition, the winners receive coaching from the Social Entrepreneurship Academy . In addition, topic-relevant special prizes can be donated from the Deloitte Foundation network, which accompany or expand the respective topic of the competition. The award-winning initiatives are intended to encourage others to support the projects presented, to bring their own initiatives and to adopt the concepts. In this way, the Deloitte Foundation helps projects with exemplary character from the niche and to gain awareness.
In 2019, five organizations and initiatives to support young people with social integration were recognized. The winners were determined in three categories for the first time in 2019. There were also new prizes for “The most innovative idea”, which promotes project ideas from the field of digital education, for the “best project in a project in the growth phase” and for the “most exemplary language promotion project”. The language promotion prize has been awarded by the Kutscheit Foundation since 2011.
The award ceremony of the Hidden Movers Award 2019 took place on November 19 in Munich in the Palais Lenbach.
