Oskar Morgenstern Medal

The Oskar Morgenstern Medal has been awarded every two years by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Vienna to outstanding economists since 2013 .

The Oskar Morgenstern Medal was donated to honor the Austrian economist Oskar Morgenstern and to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the faculty. The award was presented for the first time in 2013 when the company moved to the new address Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1. The award ceremony takes place every two years at the University of Vienna or in the Faculty of Economics and is endowed with 10,000 euros.
