Oskar Frech (entrepreneur)

Oskar Frech (born January 23, 1902 in Stuttgart-Münster ; † September 9, 1985 in Schorndorf ) was a German toolmaker and founder of the company Oskar Frech GmbH , Schorndorf.

Life

Frech spent his childhood with his mother and four siblings in Schorndorf. After finishing school and apprenticeship as a toolmaker, his professional advancement began. In 1949 he founded a company for the production of die casting and plastic injection molds in Schorndorf. He also lived there in the basement of his company. He was supported by his wife Emilie, geb. Föhl, his daughter and his two sons, from whom Wolfgang Frech took over the company in 1965.
