Oskar Kohlschmidt

Oskar Kohlschmidt (born January 29, 1865 in Rothenstein ; † September 14, 1935 in Dorndorf / Saale ) was a German theologian , pastor in Magdeburg at the Sankt-Jakobi-Kirche and superintendent in Calbe (Saale) .

Oskar Kohlschmidt was the son of Edwin Wilhelm Kohlschmidt, local pastor of Rothenstein (Jena) and Laura Henriette nee. Nail. He was married to Else Nippold (1869–1940), daughter of the church historian Friedrich Nippold and sister of the international lawyer Otfried Nippold . He was the father of the Germanist Werner Kohlschmidt .
