Oslo Agreement

Oslo Agreement describes various international agreements that were concluded in the Norwegian capital Oslo :

  • For the adoption of the Ottawa Convention by 89 countries around the world in Oslo on the prohibition of anti-personnel mines of September 18, 1997 ("Convention on the prohibition of the use, storage, manufacture and distribution of anti-personnel mines and on their destruction") December 1997 in the Canadian capital Ottawa was also signed.
  • Oslo-London Treaty Act (February 15, 1972) on waste disposal in the North Sea, Arctic Ocean and North Atlantic
