Oslo Agreement
Oslo Agreement describes various international agreements that were concluded in the Norwegian capital Oslo :
- Agreement between Palestinians and Israel to resolve the Middle East conflict within the framework of the so-called Oslo peace process :
- Declaration of Principles on Temporary Self-Government (Oslo I, September 13, 1993), was only implemented after the Gaza-Jericho Agreement (May 4, 1994);
- the Interim Agreement on the West Bank and Gaza Strip (Oslo II, 1995).
- For the adoption of the Ottawa Convention by 89 countries around the world in Oslo on the prohibition of anti-personnel mines of September 18, 1997 ("Convention on the prohibition of the use, storage, manufacture and distribution of anti-personnel mines and on their destruction") December 1997 in the Canadian capital Ottawa was also signed.
