Osnabrück Chamber Music Days

The Osnabrück Chamber Music Festival , also known as the 'classic con brio' festival , was launched in 1997 and has since taken place annually in the spring in Osnabrück and the surrounding area.

Among other things, the festival has dedicated itself to networking European chamber music . At the same time it would like to promote young European musicians with the involvement of the students of the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and University . The Chamber Music Days are organized by Schlossverein Osnabrück e. V.

The 12th Osnabrück Chamber Music Days took place from April 11th to 20th, 2008 under the artistic direction of Hubert Buchberger . The patron was Hans-Gert Pöttering , then President of the European Parliament . In addition to five young string quartets selected by an international tender , the following artists took part:
