Eastern Church Studies
Ostkirchliche Studien is a biannual magazine since 1952. It is edited by Christian Hannick , Professor of Slavic Studies at the University of Würzburg , and Rudolf Prokschi , Professor of Patrology and Eastern Church Studies at the University of Vienna , in collaboration with the Echter Verlag in Würzburg .
She deals primarily with the history and theology of the Eastern Church as well as with pressing Eastern Church problems . With this she wants to make a contribution to the necessary encounter between East and West and to create an atmosphere of understanding and open-mindedness.
