The East Gate of Belgrade ( Serbo-Croatian Istočne Kapije ) is a building complex in Belgrade , Serbia . It was designed from 1973 to 1976 according to the plans of the architect Vera Ćirković together with the engineer Milutin Jerotijević . The complex consists of three 28-storey residential towers with 190 apartments each. Each tower is 85 meters high. The complex is one of the landmarks of Belgrade and is an important work of Yugoslav architecture. It forms an architectural reference to the west gate of Belgrade .

The complex is now in poor condition and in need of renovation. However, the financial means are lacking for this.
