Osvaldo Sánchez (* 1958 ) is a Cuban art critic and curator .

life and work

Osvaldo Sánchez studied art and history at the University of Havana . He was director of the Museo de Arte Moderno (MAM) , the Museo Tamayo Arte Contemporáneo and the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil in Mexico City . Sánchez was Artistic Director of the Art Biennale inSite 05 . The inSite project , originally located on the San Diego – Tijuana border , is dedicated to art in public spaces .

Osvaldo Sánchez was a member of the search committee for documenta 14 , which took place in 2017.
