Osvaldo Velloso de Barros (born September 25, 1908 in Corumbá , MS , † August 8, 1996 Rio de Janeiro ) was a Brazilian national football goalkeeper .

career

Velloso grew up at the Clube Bahiano de Tênis from Salvador (Bahia) . At the age of twenty he moved to Fluminense FC in Rio de Janeiro . For this he is said to have played 92 games in seven years.

For the national soccer team of Brazil several international matches. At the first football World Cup in 1930 he was part of the team and played against Bolivia on July 20 (4-0).

Then he was still used at:

  • official friendly game on August 1, 1930 against France - 3-2
  • unofficial friendly game on July 2, 1931 against Hungary - 6: 1
  • on September 6, 1931 at the Copa Río Branco in a 2-0 over Uruguay .
