Mehmet Oktay Aykurt (born September 19, 1992 in Elazığ ) is a Turkish football player .

Player career

Akyıldız learned to play football in the youth department of the clubs Elazığ Tiryaki Gençlikspor and Elazığ Yolspor , before he moved to the youth department of the East Turkish club Elazığspor , the most famous sports club in his hometown Elazığ, in October 2011 . In spring 2014 he received a professional contract on the directive of head coach Okan Buruk and was accepted into the professional squad with teammates such as Erol Alkan , Muhammet Akyıldız and Ömer Yıldız . He made his debut for this team on February 13, 2014 in the cup match against Tokatspor . By the end of the season, he completed a first division game. In addition to his work, he continued to play for the reserve team of his club this season. For the 2014/15 season he finally became part of the professional team.
