Otai

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Otai is a fruit juice - mixed drink from the island republic Tonga . It is offered as a soft drink and consists of water, coconut milk and a changing mixture of different fruit juices, especially coconut , melon , mango or pineapple . A little sugar is occasionally added to sweeten it, but the otai is usually sweet enough due to the fruit. The most common combination is made of watermelon and does not contain alcohol.

Wine has established itself as an alcoholic ingredient outside of Tonga, and ice cubes can also be added. In this form, the Otai is now internationally known.
