Ottfried (magazine)
The magazine Ottfried is an independent Bamberg student magazine published by students at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg .
Ottfried appears twice a semester , in the middle and at the end with an edition of 3000. In addition, a freshman edition appears in the winter semester with an edition of 1300. The publisher and editorial staff of Ottfried see themselves as an independent body that is not bound by any group or ideology. In contrast to other student newspapers, the infrastructure and work rooms are provided by the user; Financing is provided through advertising sales. There are no organizational connections to the student representatives.
Since the 05/2010 issue, Ottfried has appeared as a magazine with a colored cover.
In 2008, 2007 and 2006, Ottfried was named the best student newspaper in Bavaria by the Pro Campus-Presse initiative . In 2008, Ottfried took fourth place in the entire German-speaking comparison. In 2010 Ottfried won the special award in the online category . A year later, the print edition won the title of Best German Student Newspaper 2011 in Bamberg.
