Ottilie Strobach (born March 5, 1851 in Mährisch Schönberg ; † February 15, 1931 there ) was a German-Moravian opera singer .

Life

Ottilie Strobach was the wife of Karl Strobach senior . She was a trained opera singer ( soprano ) and worked as a soloist and choir director . As the president of the Mährisch-Schönberg women's choir , she had excellent organizational skills. The performances were characterized by a rich repertoire and high artistic quality. In 1889 and 1890 she took part in the two major tours that the Vienna Court Opera took to Mährisch Schönberg with stars of the Viennese opera scene under the direction of its director Wilhelm Jahn . In 1915 she published a collection of poems.
