Otto Andreas Lowson Mørch , also Otto Mörch , (born May 17, 1828 in Lund , † 1878 in Nice ) was a Danish malacologist .

Mørch was born in Lund to a Danish father who was a gardener in the botanical garden and a Swedish mother. The family later moved to Copenhagen, where his father was at the Botanical Gardens in Charlottenburg and where he grew up. In 1844 he became assistant to Heinrich Beck (1799–1863), who administered the Conchylia collection of the Danish Crown Prince (later Christian VIII). He later became assistant to Japetus Steenstrup at the Zoological Museum . In 1868 he received an honorary doctorate from the University of Göttingen.

In addition to malacology, he also dealt with paleontology in collaboration with Frederik Johnstrup (1818–1894), particularly on fossils from the Tertiary and Cretaceous periods from Denmark and Iceland. When he died, a large monograph on the fossils of the crag formation in Iceland remained unfinished.

He died of tuberculosis in Nice.
