Otto Braun (politician, 1882)

Otto Braun (born May 1, 1882 in Angerburg , † February 8, 1969 in Bremerhaven ) was a German administrative lawyer and politician ( NSDAP ).

Braun studied law after graduating from high school and graduated in 1908 with a doctorate in law. jur. from. He was clerk at the District Court Angerburg and soldier in the First World War . From September 1909 to March 1921 he was mayor of Bialla . On March 1, 1929, he joined the NSDAP (membership number 125699). For this he was elected to the city parliament of Angerburg in November 1929. December 1930 he became a member of the district committee Angerburg.

With the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933, he made a career. In 1933 he was a member of the last provincial parliament of the province of East Prussia for the Angerburg district and the NSDAP . In April 1933 he became provisional and in November 1933 definitely district administrator in the Angerburg district . He was deputy district leader of the NSDAP for the district of Angerburg. In June 1937 he became provisional and in December 1937 he became district administrator in the Rößel district . He remained in this office until the collapse in 1944.
