Otto Gaebler

Karl Otto Gäbler (born December 23, 1868 in Dresden , † after 1943) was a German administrative lawyer and president of the Saxon Higher Administrative Court .

Life

Gäbler was the son of a school principal. He studied law at the universities of Berlin and Leipzig . After completing his legal preparatory service, he became an assistant judge at the Bautzen district court . From 1897 to 1914 he worked in the Saxon tax administration. On June 1, 1914, he was appointed Senior Administrative Judge at the Saxon Higher Administrative Court. In 1929 he became President of the Senate there. On September 1, 1932, he was appointed President of the Saxon Higher Administrative Court. His term of office ended a few months before reaching retirement age on October 31, 1933.
