Otto II of Nassau-Siegen (* around 1300/1305; † 1350 or 1351, fallen) was Count of Nassau-Dillenburg from 1343 to 1350 .

Life

Otto was the older son of Count Heinrich I von Nassau-Siegen and Adelheid von Heinsberg and Blankenburg . When Otto's father Heinrich I died in 1343, the county of Nassau-Siegen was divided among his sons. The younger son, also known as Heinrich I, received Nassau-Beilstein , while Otto got Nassau-Dillenburg.

On December 23, 1331 he married Adelheid von Vianden ; with her he had four children:

  • Johann I , Count of Nassau-Dillenburg, (1339–1416)
  • Heinrich of Nassau-Dillenburg († 1402)
  • Otto von Nassau-Dillenburg, canon in Mainz (1341–1384)
  • Adelaide of Nassau-Dillenburg, Äbtissin in pin Keppel († 1381)
