Otto Ottbert
Otto Ottbert , completely Otto Ottbert-Neisch (* 1852 , † 1933 ) was a German theater actor and director .
Life
Ottbert was active on the stage from the beginning of the 1870s. He began in Cottbus, came to Rostock in 1874 and then worked for three years at the court theater in Schwerin, came to the Thaliatheater in Hamburg in 1878, to Petersburg in 1879, to Leipzig from 1880 to 1882, to the Residenztheater in 1883, to the Wallnertheater in Berlin from 1884 to 1888 , went to the Ambergtheater in New York in 1889, returned to the Wallnertheater in 1891, was a member of the City Theater in Brno for a year and joined the Association of the Court Theater in Darmstadt in 1894, where he stayed for five years and also worked as a comedy director.
