Otto Zangemeister

Otto Zangemeister (born April 16, 1836 in Hallungen ; † May 5, 1902 in Gotha ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Zangemeister attended the secondary schools in Eschwege and Gotha and the universities of Bonn-Poppelsdorf and Halle . During his studies he became a member of the Marchia Bonn fraternity in 1857 . He was tenant of a domain near Gotha from 1863 to 1889. From 1873 he was a member of the state parliament of the 18th electoral district of the Duchy of Gotha and from 1889 a member of the city council and senator of Gotha. In the agricultural association of the Duchy of Gotha he worked for a long time and was also chairman of the main agricultural association for the Duchy of Gotha from 1879 to 1887. In 1889 he published the chemical composition of the most important feed and fertilizers.

From 1890 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Duchy of Saxony-Coburg-Gotha 2 ( Gotha ) and the German Liberal Party .
