Out Hud
Out Hud was an American band formed in California in 1996 . The band later moved to New York . The band included cello (Molly Schlick), bass (Tyler Pope), guitar (Nic Offer) and drums (Phyllis Forbes). The band also included Justin Vandervolgen, who operated the mixer. Pope, Offer and Vandervolgen also belonged to the band !!! on. Their first single, Guilty Party , was released in 1997 under the Red Alert Works label. Most recently the band produced under the label Kranky. In Germany a license production was released by K7 Records .
On their latest album, Let Us Never Speak Of It Again , Out Hut leans towards tech house . Phyllis Forbes does the vocals, while her original role as drummer is taken over by a drum computer .
