The Outbreakband is a Christian band that was formed in 2007. The band is the result of various youth events at the Belief Center Bad Gandersheim and derives its name from the event "Outbreak". In addition to fixed events, she also plays at other youth conferences, worship nights or festivals in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands and in April 2014 in Paraguay.

history

In the spring of 2007 a youth camp of the faith center was re-launched. For this occasion, today's band leader Juri Friesen was supposed to put together a band. The later members of the core band around Stefan Schöpfle, Samuel Weber, Mia Friesen and Benni Schuhmacher were already registered as volunteers. After the band formed around Easter 2007, it was booked more and more frequently. They recorded their first live CD on Outbreak 2008 (Christian Youth Day with the character of a church service) with the album title In Your Light . On this occasion Pala Friesen, the brother of Juri Friesen, joined the band. Later in the year, Jonathan Schiffelbein also joined the team on the electric guitar, who played a formative role until the summer of 2011.

So far, the Outbreakband has released eight live albums, two remix albums and one EP. Three of the live albums in collaboration with “Glaubenszentrum Live”. The band now had many band members, but the core band around Juri Friesen, Mia Friesen, Pala Friesen, Stefan Schöpfle, Tobias Gamerdinger (since 2009) and Benni Schuhmacher has not changed. Examples of Outbreakband songs are Centerpiece , The Savior's Love, and God and King .

In summer 2015 the band broke away from the faith center as a work area / project and became independent.

The first studio album, Atmosphere, was released in 2018, financed by crowdfunding.
