It is located on the Osterberg in Bad Gandersheim in the Northeim district in Lower Saxony ( Germany ). The carrier is the Glaubenszentrum e. V. based in Braunschweig.

history

The faith center was founded in 1975 by employees of the American theological seminar " Christ for the Nations Institute " ( Dallas , Texas), initially in Wolfenbüttel near Braunschweig . With the move to the barracks building of the former customs school Bad Gandersheim (a building that was used between 1936 and 1945 as the motorsport school of the National Socialist Motor Vehicle Corps (NSKK)) in 1987 and its subsequent extensive expansion, the work quickly developed into a Christian service with annually several thousand visitors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and many other countries. In 1998 an “awakening hall” with space for around 1,000 visitors was built and in 2003 the “Wilhelm-Augusta-Stift” was acquired to accommodate around 140 Bible students annually. Today there are over 60 employees and deacons working in the faith center. The “Prisma Team” forms the board. Overall manager is Markus Germann.

job

The Bad Gandersheim Faith Center sees itself primarily as a Bible school and conference center. The training of the Bible school does not lead to a recognized professional qualification, but is accepted by some free churches as a qualification for different areas of activity.

The work of the Faith Center Bad Gandersheim is largely supported by donations and is organized on a non-profit basis.
