Outgoing
When outgoing is called in tourism that tourist offers that from a domestic travel agency or tour operator , but offered domestic destinations and types abroad include. It is therefore a question of tourist traffic flows to a country other than the country of origin.
The analogous translation of this English term means “outgoing” (leaving the country of booking) travel business, i.e. tourism leaving one's own country. Outgoing thus also influences the trade balance of the respective country of origin.
structure
Since the mechanisms in outgoing work significantly differently than in incoming , there are specialized companies for both directions. There may also be different commercial access regulations for these types of tourism (different from country to country).
Outgoing companies receive their services
- from an incoming partner in the destination country or region
- through direct purchase of the services in the target country or region
The "production path" for an outgoing company consists of the following simple steps:
- The range of services abroad is bundled by an incoming agency abroad and offered as an offer to the outgoing company in Germany, which offers this package either in the form of individual modules or as package tours on the domestic market .
An example should make this clear:
- In Germany, you book a city stay in a German city → Incoming
- In Germany, you book a vacation trip to Spain or Australia → Outgoing
