Outsider House
Outsider House , also called Outsider Dance , is an experimental style of electronic music that combines elements of house , techno and noise .
Characteristic of outsider house is use of analog hardware such as synthesizers , keyboards , samplers , drum machines , sequencers , and cassette decks rather than modern digital production techniques. A comparatively rough sound with a low-fidelity sound is usually achieved , in contrast to the "smoothly polished" high-fidelity sound of the other contemporary genres of electronic music.
Stylistically, Outsider House goes back to House, Dub , Chicago House , Detroit Techno , Deep House , Techno, Tech House , Hard Techno, Intelligent Dance Music , Electronica , Industrial , Avantgarde and Noise and has been particularly in Europe and the United States since 2011/2012 States present.
The term Outsider Dance or Outsider House goes back to DJ Ben UFO and music journalist Scott Wilson in 2012. The term outsider house (in English: “outsider house”) is controversial in the music scene due to its supposedly negative-sounding name.
