Ovidiu Tudor Oprea

Ovidiu-Tudor "Tudy" Oprea (born September 10, 1976 in Târnăveni , Mureș County ) is a Romanian mountain biker .

Ovidiu-Tudor Oprea won two races at the Kissavos Cup in Greece in 2003 . The following year he was successful in a race in the Cypriot Winter MTB Cup and won the Kissavos Cup , the Int. Cappadoccia Stage Race and the Surmont Mountain Bike Festival . At the Summer Olympics in Athens , Oprea was 37th in the cross country competition. In the 2005 season he won the Trofei Montenegro and was Romanian champion in cross country. In 2006 he was successful at the Istanbul Cup , the Konya MTB Cup and the Trofei Montenegro . He also defended his national championship and won the gold medal at the Balkan Championship in Cross Country. The following year he won the national championship and the Balkan championship again, each in Păltiniş .
