history

Oxdog was founded in 2011 by the three Swedes Joacim Bergström, Marko Sompa and Mattias Eklund. At that time, the three of them had more than 20 years of experience in the sales and marketing of floorball items.

The name Oxdog is made up of the two words Ox, in German ox, and Dog, in German dog. The ox represents strength. This is combined with a dog, an animal that is intelligent, fast and always loyal.

Products and Markets

At the beginning, the Swedish manufacturer specialized exclusively in the trade and production of floorball sticks. In 2012 the company manufactured the first Onepice racket. In this case, stick and shovel are made from one piece. The Stick Balance System, SBS for short, developed by Oxdog allows players to adjust the center of gravity with the help of a metal weight.

Over the years Oxdog has expanded the range. There are now seven series of floorball sticks and three types of blades. Oxdog also makes goalkeeping equipment, bags, grip tape and teamwear.

Oxdog is one of the few manufacturers to have its own online shop for the products.
